The stencil has two surface elements provided with a sliding slot (4) and arbitrarily shifted against each other. Stops (7) are rotated between a recess and a playback unit in a different position. The stops are made of a material such that the fault measurement between the recess and the playback unit is tolerated. Individual sensing elements are independently set-up by spring action. The sensing elements are slid over around mark points for detecting the recess or pipe breakdowns.
