The invention relates to a structural element (1) comprising a single substantially prismatic and rectangular block of which at least one of the surfaces thereof is provided with a recess (3) and/or a projection (2) defining a male/female connection, which block can be slidably inserted into another equivalent block. Consequently, no additional elements are required in order to attach the blocks, thereby reducing the costs and time associated with constructing an enclosure or wall.
