<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane emulsion for artificial leathers excellent in sweat-proofness, hydrolysis resistance, flexibility, etc., and to provide such an artificial leather produced using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The polyurethane emulsion for artificial leathers includes: (a) an organic isocyanate; (b) a polycarbonate diol; and (c) a reaction product from a chain extender and a urethane prepolymer as a reaction product of a compound having one hydrophilic center and at least two isocyanate-reactive groups. In this polyurethane emulsion, the polycarbonate diol (b) has repeating units each represented by formula A (wherein, R<SB>1</SB>is a 2-12C divalent aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbon group) and terminal hydroxy groups, and has a number-average molecular weight of 300-10,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
