<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for a rear wheel of a scooter type motorcycle which assures proper and smooth operation and has superior safety. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a brake cable 13 is connected to a brake lever, and the other end is connected to a brake cam lever. The brake cable 13 is disposed lower at the intermediate part than at the both ends in a bent state, and a guide tube part 14 having a through hole for drainage is attached to the curved bottom part. A projecting guide plate 16 is attached to the outer periphery of the guide tube part 14. The guide plate 16 is engaged with a vehicle frame side guide part 17 having a flat surface extending in the longitudinal direction along the longitudinal axis of the brake cable 13 so as to be loosely moved in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
