PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash management system for performing cash management strictly and improving operational efficiency even if the cash management system is operated at any place. SOLUTION: The cash management system includes: end face reading units 70 which can be opposite to each of upper/lower end faces of objects stored in storages 14 and 15 and move along each end face to obtain end face image information of each end face; a memory unit 19 for storing image master information of the stored objects; and a control unit 18 for matching the end face image information to the image master information to obtain quantity detection information and denomination detection information of each stored object in the storages 14 and 15.
