PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of stably supplying electric power using a main power source and an auxiliary power source by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: An ECU (power supply control part) serving as a power supply control means detects the output voltage of the auxiliary power source and the output current Ib of the main power source. When the output voltage of the auxiliary power source is equal to or less than a first voltage threshold Vth1, the ECU turns on/off a switching element on the lower stage side (earth side) of a boost circuit to charge the auxiliary power source, and based on the output current value Ib of the main power source, varies the on-duty ratio of the switching element.
