PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of simultaneously detecting the meandering of a fixing belt by a temperature detecting means detecting the surface temperature of the fixing belt. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes the endless fixing belt supported by a plurality of support members. The fixing device includes: the temperature detecting means arranged on both sides of the fixing belt; a determination means determining that temperature detected by the temperature detecting means exceeds a predetermined temperature difference; and a correction means correcting the meandering of the fixing belt by the determination result of the determination means.
