Disclosed is a clutch unit comprising: a lever-side clutch part which controls transmission/interruption of rotational torque to an output side by the operation of a lever; and a brake-side clutch part which transmits input torque from the lever-side clutch part to the output side and interrupts reverse input torque from the output side. The lever-side clutch part is provided with an outer centering spring (19) which is disposed between a lever-side wheel rim that is rotated by the operation of the lever and a cover (24) that is restrained from rotation. The outer centering spring (19) accumulates elastic force by means of the input torque from the lever-side wheel rim, and returns the lever-side wheel rim to a neutral position by means of the accumulated elastic force when the input torque is released. The outer centering spring (19) is a C-shaped band spring. The cover (24) has an inclined part (24g) which abuts the outer centering spring (19) and protrudes to the outer centering spring (19). When the outer centering spring (19) is attached, the inner diameter of the outer centering spring (19) is arranged further outside than the maximum outer diameter of the inclined part (24g) of the cover (24). |
