摘要 <p>The present invention relates to protein or peptide catechol polyethylene glycol derivative conjugates, in which a polyethylene glycol derivative is bonded, in a single molecule, to the N-terminal that is a specific portion of the protein or peptide using the polyethylene glycol derivative having catechol. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing the conjugates. According to the present invention, a catechol polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative is bonded, in a single molecule, to the N-terminal amine group that is a specific portion of the protein or peptide, in a site-specific manner, thus obtaining uniform polyethylene glycol protein or peptide conjugates at a high yield rate. As compared to conventional techniques, the thus-obtained conjugates have no chemical protein modification and can minimize protein activity inhibition, and therefore can exhibit superior pharmaceutical effects. The conjugates of the present invention have homogeneity to simplify preparation processes, and have in vivo biological and medicinal effects which can be uniformly estimated. The conjugates of the present invention have high resistance against hydrolysis, and thus have a long in vivo duration, thereby enhancing in vivo medicinal effects and the stability of protein drugs.</p>
