PURPOSE: A producing method of a toner using an alkali water soluble resin containing an acid group is provided obtain toner particles with the uniform particle size distribution, the high glossiness, and the high printing quality. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a toner comprises the following steps: dissolving an alkali water soluble resin containing an acid group to an alkaline aqueous solution; adding a polymerizable monomer and a polymerization initiator into the alkali water soluble resin solution for obtaining latex; adding a wax dispersion solution and a colorant dispersion solution into the latex; inserting a cohering agent into the mixture, and homogenizing the mixture for coagulating toner particles; and combining the obtained toner particles.
