<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an increase of contact resistance due to dimensional change in a rechargeable metal air battery, thereby improving performance and life of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rechargeable metal air battery, provided with an anode storing and releasing metal ion, a cathode with oxygen as an active material, and an electrolyte film arranged between the anode and the cathode, has a flexible dimension absorbing material arranged at an anode side, the dimension absorbing material being a reversibly changing elastic body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
