<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably stop a fuel cell system having a fuel cell power generation device and an exhaust heat recovery device as equipment life. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation device 100 has a life determining means 105 for determining equipment life of a self-device, and a control section 101. The exhaust heat recovery device 110 has a life determining means 113 for determining equipment life of a self-device, and a control section 111. The control section 101 of the fuel cell power generation device 100 is formed so as not to start next time by terminating an operation of the self-device (fuel cell power generation device 100) if either of the life determining means 105 of the self-device and the life determining means 113 of the counter device determines that the life is reached. The control section 111 of the exhaust heat recovery device 110 is formed so as not to start next time by terminating an operation of the self device (exhaust heat recovery device 110) if either of the life determining means 113 of the self device and the life determining means 105 of the counter device determines that the life is reached.
