<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a lithium ion secondary battery capable of being used maintenance-free for a long period with a safe, economical and simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery is provided with a battery portion having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution enclosed, a nonaqueous electrolyte solution housing portion to house a refilling nonaqueous electrolyte solution, an outer can for housing the battery portion and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution housing portion, dividing walls housed inside the outer can and between the battery portion and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution housing portion, and an exuding part which is provided on the dividing walls and exudes the refilling nonaqueous electrolyte solution from the nonaqueous electrolyte solution housing portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
