PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for treating muddy water capable of removing a harmful substance while keeping the physical property values of muddy water like a muddy water type shield construction method or the like to circulate muddy water and capable of setting wastewater produced in the case of the treatment of sludge to a level capable of discharging the wastewater to the outside.

SOLUTION: This muddy water treatment system is equipped with the sludge discharge pipe connected to a muddy water producing source at one end part thereof, a pH adjustor tank for injecting a pH adjustor in the sludge discharge pipe and the ozone generator arranged to the rear stage of the pH adjustor tank and injecting ozone in the sludge discharge pipe.
