<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant pipe for connecting an outdoor unit to an indoor unit in an air conditioner to form a passage of refrigerant and signal, which is configured so that attachment/detachment of a signal line is facilitated, and to provide an air conditioner using the refrigerant pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerant pipe of the air conditioner for connecting the indoor unit to the outdoor unit through insulating materials provided at both ends of a metal pipe, includes a conduction device attached to the metal pipe. The conduction device has a substantially tubular shape having a C-shaped cross section, and includes a conductor at least on the inside thereof.
