<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the loss of a semiconductor switching element by adjusting an input voltage to a gate terminal of the semiconductor switching element by the ON-time. <P>SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes a first DC power supply circuit which converts an AC power supply to the DC supply, and a second DC power supply circuit which receives a power supply voltage from the first DC power supply circuit and makes a voltage lower than an output voltage of the first DC power supply circuit. The first DC power supply circuit is constituted so as to output a voltage of about two times or more higher than a threshold voltage of the gate terminal of the semiconductor switching element. A control part receives the power supply voltage from the second DC power supply circuit, a drive circuit receives power from the first power supply circuit, and a voltage inputted into the gate terminal of the semiconductor switching element is adjusted by the time length of an on-signal outputted by the control part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
