PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify persons concerned in the equipment of abnormality of medical gas equipment. SOLUTION: The monitoring and alarm system includes a plurality of feeding equipment sections, and a monitoring and alarm device 110. The monitoring and alarm device 110 includes: an information signal input receiving unit 113 receiving an input of an information signal indicating an occurrence of abnormality; a procedure reminding alarm generation unit 115 generating a visible alarm and an audible alarm reminding the persons concerned in the equipment to follow a prescribed procedure for restoring the feeding equipment causing abnormality; a stop request input receiving unit 116 receiving an input requesting to stop the continuous emission of the alarm by audible alarm means; a procedure notification input receiving unit 117 receiving an input notifying that the prescribed procedure has been done for restoring the feeding equipment causing the abnormality; a visible alarm output unit 122 outputting to visible alarm means, the alarm including the visible alarm generated by the procedure reminding alarm generation unit 115; and an audible alarm output unit 123 outputting to the audible alarm means, the audible alarm generated by the procedure reminding alarm generation unit 115.
