PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact pull-out device which can pull out H-shaped steel, used as a pile for earth retaining in civil engineering work, from ground. SOLUTION: This device includes; a body 10 which comprises a pair of columns 11 erected at an interval, and a coupling member 12 for coupling the columns together; an elevating platform 20 ascendable/descendable along the body; and an erect hydraulic drive member 30 for ascent/descent, which is coupled between the elevating platform and the body so as to lift/lower the elevating platform. The hydraulic drive member for ascent/descent comprises a cylinder 21 and a rod 23; and the elevating platform is formed with a T-shaped opening 20b which enables the passage of the H-shaped steel 60, and equipped with a pair of hydraulic holding implements 25 for holding the H-shaped-steel by pressing a coupling member-side flange 61 of the H-shaped steel.
