ANALGESIC USING VITAMIN-E DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition (an analgesic) which is effective for the relaxation and reduction of various kinds of pains. SOLUTION: The analgesic uses as an active ingredient a water-soluble vitamin-E derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof which is expressed by general formula of the figure. In the formula, R1and R2are the same or different, and each a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R3and R5are different, and each a hydrogen atom, or an S-bonding SH compound or an ester thereof (excluding cysteamine); R4is a hydroxy group, an N-substituted amino acid or an ester thereof (excluding an aminoethanesulfonic acid, and an aminoethanesulfinic acid), or an amine compound.
