PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of exactly detecting a house-breaker. SOLUTION: The security system 1 has: a detection means 21 for detecting the position of a mobile body in a monitoring area; an identification means 22 for acquiring identification information capable of identifying whether or not the mobile body is a permitted person who is permitted to enter the monitoring area; and a monitoring processing means 39 for detecting a suspicious person on the basis of the position of the mobile body detected by the detection means 21 and the identification information. Then, when the mobile body which is the permitted person and a second mobile body which is a non-permitted person who is not permitted to enter the monitoring area are simultaneously detected in the monitoring area, the monitoring processing means 39 determines whether or not the non-permitted person is the suspicious person according to the moving locus of the permitted person and the moving locus of the non-permitted person.
