PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is improved in electrophotographic properties such as sensitivity and residual potential, while having excellent durability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a layer containing one or more specific p-terphenyl compounds and one or more polycarbonate resins represented by general formula (I) in a mass ratio between the p-terphenyl compounds and the polycarbonate resins within the range from 2:8 to 7:3.
