PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience when a coefficient is inputted, the coefficient being used when a measured value of physical quantity is computed. SOLUTION: A measuring instrument is equipped with: a computation part which computes a measured value of physical quantity by using an inputted coefficient; and a display controlling part which displays a numerical value inputting frame Fn (numerical value inputting frames Fn1-Fn11) for individually inputting therein a numerical value of each digit constituting the coefficient for each digit. The display controlling part executes first display processing for displaying a numerical value inputted in a numerical value inputting frame Fn in the numerical value inputting frame Fn itself in an input permissible period from the execution of an input starting operation which instructs the start of inputting the coefficient till the execution of an input finishing operation which instructs the finish of inputting the coefficient, and then executes second display processing for displaying the coefficient in a displaying mode in which the numerical value inputted in the input permissible period is displayed in the numerical value inputting frame Fn to which the inputted numerical value is inputted and for hiding the other numerical value inputting frames Fn except the numerical value inputting frame Fn concerned, when the input finishing operation is executed.
