<p>The disclosed waveguide / planar line transducer is provided with a waveguide for transmitting electromagnetic waves through an opening, and a multilayer substrate having multiple conductive layers. The aforementioned multilayer substrate is provided with: a first conductive layer which is in close contact with the opening of the waveguide and has a first coupling hole provided in a position overlapping with the opening of the waveguide when observed from the thickness direction of the multilayer substrate; a strip electrode which is electromagnetically coupled to the aforementioned first conductive layer, arranged on the side opposite that of the aforementioned first conductive layer in the substrate thickness direction, and extends in a surface direction of the aforementioned multilayer substrate; and a second conductive layer which is arranged in the substrate thickness direction between the aforementioned first conductive layer and the aforementioned strip electrode and has a second coupling hole having a protuberance facing in at least one of the directions in which the aforementioned strip electrode extends.</p> |
