<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine spinal curvature according to the shape of a body surface. <P>SOLUTION: Cross section data forming means 5i forms data including at least a part of the cross section of a plurality of human bodies from the three-dimensional data of a human body back surface. Single elliptic approximation means 5j identifies a single ellipse by performing the approximation operation processing of the data including at least a part of the cross section. Identification means 5k identifies a spinal curvature portion where an error between the cross section data and the single ellipse is equal to or larger than a preset threshold, and generates identification output.
