<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and circuit for performing two-dimensional super-resolution processing and three-dimensional super-resolution processing at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a first high resolution converting part for performing high resolution conversion of a low resolution input image to generate a high resolution input image; a low resolution converting part for making a high resolution input image or high resolution image to be an estimated high resolution image and performing low resolution conversion of the estimated high resolution image to generate a low resolution image; a difference image generating part for generating a difference image from the low resolution image and the low resolution input image; a second high resolution converting part for performing high resolution conversion of the difference image to generate a difference high resolution image; a high resolution image generating part for generating a high resolution image obtained by the difference high resolution image and the estimated high resolution image; and a control part for controlling whether to make the high resolution image generating part repeatedly generate a high resolution image on the basis of the estimated high resolution image or to output the estimated high resolution image as a super-resolution image to finish the processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
