<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an entry of water due to deformation of a grommet in washing at high pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The grommet includes rubber or elastomer and is installed in the through-hole of a vehicle body panel while being attached to a wire harness arranged in a vehicle. A conical tube 3, which spreads in diameter, continues from one end of a small-diameter tube 2. The tip on the large-diameter side of the conical tube 3 is provided with a thick large-diameter part. A ring-shaped vehicle body hooking recess 5 is provided between the thick large-diameter part and the conical tube. Besides, the conical tube 3 is provided with a bellow-shaped part 10 with ring-shaped ridges 11 and troughs 12 being continued alternately in its axial direction in a region which ranges from the continuous side with the small-diameter part to the large diameter side. A slit 13 is cut from its outside into the apex of the ridge 11 so that it is easy to flex to the side without a ridge when a load is added from outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
