<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying apparatus using a photocatalyst action wherein an active oxygen of titanium oxide breaks a molecular bond of an organic compound. <P>SOLUTION: 100-300 yarns of titanium oxide are gathered around a yarn-like carbon fiber, twisted and bundled to form a thick yarn. Further, a string with a square hole of a central hole of 0.2-0.8ϕmm is produced using 3-9 thick yarns and is broken to 50-500 mm length in every use to form a photocatalyst body. The body is used in the heart of the purifying apparatus of a gas and a liquid. If the body reacts with water etc., a photocatalyst reaction using decomposition action of the organic compound having highly active oxygen proceeds, a cell, which is an extremely fine impurity or a pathogenic bacteria in water, is stored, an underwater floating matter is decomposed, and the impurity, chlorine, etc. are reduced to 1/3 or below of them of a raw water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
