<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a composite reinforcement member obtainable of high joining strength required as a bending strength member even when a steel plate is welded to a flange back face at a rear face side of an aluminum alloy hollow shape material, and also to provide the composite reinforcement member. <P>SOLUTION: When the steel plates 10, 11 laminated on the back face of the flange 4 at the rear face side of the aluminum alloy hollow shape material 2 having a squarish eight shaped cross section and with a middle rib in a rectangular cross section are integrally welded and joined at three places of both the end sides of 4b, 4c of the flange 4 at the rear face side and a center part side 4a which the middle rib 7 of the flange 4 at the rear face side intersects, the back face area at the center part side 4a is preliminarily formed into a protruded shape 8, and the two steel plates are laminated to sandwich the protrusion 8 and allow the protrusion 8 to protrude therebetween and are arc-welded by FCW (flux-cored wire) in this state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
