摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a filler wire to a suitable position in a molten pool in laser beam welding of a curved part, and to excellently join two metallic plates by laser beam welding. <P>SOLUTION: While the surface of the upper metallic plate W1 out of the two vertically stacked metallic plates W1, W2 is irradiated with a laser beam LB, the laser beam LB is moved along a prescribed welding route R, the metallic plates W1, W2 are fused by the laser beam LB to form the molten pool WY in which the molten metal is stored. Also, an energized and heated filler wire X is supplied by a wire supply 3 to a prescribed position more backward in the welding advancing direction than the irradiation part L of the laser beam LB in the molten pool WY. In the laser beam welding of the two metallic plates W1, W2, when the moving locus of the laser beam LB is determined as a curved part, the position of the wire supply 3 is adjusted, so that the supply position of the filler wire X to the molten pool WY is moved to the curvature center side of the curved part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
