PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a separator for an electronic component such as a polymer lithium secondary battery, an aluminum electrolyte capacitor, an electric duel layer capacitor, and a lithium ion capacitor, improving a capturing performance of negative electrode active inhibitors such as hydrofluoric acid gas without impairing workability, productivity, and reliability. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the separator for the electronic component has processes of: mixing vinylidine fluoride, a good solvent composed of aprotic polar solvent, a poor solvent composed of alcohol of carbon numbers 5-12, and capturing particles for capturing negative electrode active inhibitors to obtain a mixed solution; coating a substrate with the mixed solution and evaporating the good solvent to form a resin film; and evaporating the poor solvent in the resin film.
