PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte effective to suppress generation of gas when stored at high temperature in a charging state and improve cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte contains a compound expressed by the general formula 1-1, where four or more of X1to X6are fluorine atoms, and the remainder is one of a hydrogen atom, alkyl having a fluorine atom, alkyl, alkenyl and alkynyl, or where three or less of X1to X6are fluorine atoms, and at least one of the remainder is alkyl having a fluorine atom particularly in case of one fluorine atom or less.
