METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPRESSING PROPAGATION OF BACTERIA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the propagation of bacteria by suppressing equipment cost, running cost and environmental cost in a neutral solution region wherein bacteria are easy to propagate in an aqueous system containing an electrolyte. SOLUTION: Microbubbles 13 are supplied to the pH neutral solution region 1 in a water treatment system 100 containing the electrolyte to adsorb hydrophobic bacteria 2a in the pH neutral solution region 1 on the surfaces of the microbubbles 13 and the hydrophobic bacteria 2a are separated from the pH neutral solution region 1 by float separation to suppress the propagation of bacteria 2 in the neutral solution region 1.
