PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assessing degradation of a resin molding obtained by molding a resin composition including a polyacetal copolymer, by analyzing causes of degradation derived from immersing the molding in a hydrocarbon-based liquid, which can assess even slight degradation at an initial period of degradation. SOLUTION: The degradation of the resin composition is assessed by assessing molecular weight change of the polyacetal copolymer from the total peak area of peaks each having peak top from 8.04 ppm to 8.07 ppm of respective measured results of<SP>1</SP>H-NMR measurement of a plurality of polyacetal copolymers different in immersion time when immersed in the hydrocarbon-based liquid.
