PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a spew formed on a tire taken out of a mold after vulcanization, and surely remove a cut piece of the spew fitted into a space on the inner liner side of the tire. SOLUTION: The tire trimming device 1 holds a carried tire 100 by pressing rolls 31, 32 and drive rolls 41, 42 with the radial direction of the tire being matched to a vertical direction, rotates the drive rolls 41, 42 with spew cutters 10A, 10B being in contact with the surface of the tire 100, and cuts the spew while relatively moving the tire 100 with the spew cutters 10A, 10B. At this time, the tire trimming device 1 injects a gas from an injector 60 toward the surface of the inner liner of the tire 100 (the inside of the tire) to blow off the cut piece of the spew fitted to the inside of the tire, and receives the blown cut piece by a catcher 70.
