摘要 The invention relates to a high-performance copper alloy obtained by means of continuous casting, comprising multiple chemical elements at concentrations varying between 0.001 and 0.161 atomic wt.-%, in which the essential chemical elements comprise: a group of metal elements, formed by Zn, Pb, Sn, Ni and Ag; a group of semimetal or metalloid elements, formed by Sb and As; and oxygen. The copper alloy of the invention is suitable for high-speed railway lines owing to the superior mechanical and thermal properties thereof, with no severe deterioration in terms of electrical conductivity. Said physical properties provide the material with excellent wear resistance and zero creep when subjected to stress and temperature over long periods of time.
