Constructing a container (10) for a biogas plant at a site of construction, comprises: providing a foil bag (12) forming the base and the wall of the container and exhibiting an opening (14) at its upper side, where a supporting ring (18) is fixed on the periphery; laying out the bag flatly; fixing many amplification struts radially spanning from the opening to the ring; fixing at least one covering foil to form a closed hollow cavity; introducing gas, preferably air into the cavity until the bag is straightened; and anchoring the supporting elements on the outer side of the straightened bag. Constructing a container (10) for a biogas plant at a site of construction, comprises: providing a foil bag (12), which forms the base and the wall of the container in the constructed condition of the container, and exhibits an opening (14) at its upper side, where a supporting ring (18) is fixed on the periphery; laying out the foil bag flatly at the site of construction, so that the upper opening of the foil bag is accessible to the supporting ring from the upper side; fixing many amplification struts radially spanning from the upper opening of the foil bag to the supporting ring; fixing at least one covering foil forming a covering of the container on the supporting ring, so that the foil bag and the covering foil form a closed hollow cavity; pivoting fixing of supporting elements (26) at mounting points distributed over the periphery of the supporting ring; introducing gas, preferably air into the hollow cavity until the foil bag is straightened; and anchoring the drooping supporting elements in the above state on the outer side of the straightened foil bag at anchoring points distributed along the periphery of the container base.
