PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device having wide-angle directivity and having a configuration suitable for use within a portable electronic apparatus.

SOLUTION: An antenna device 100 includes a substantially rectangular soft magnetic material 200 in a flat plate shape, and a loop-shaped coil 330. The coil 330 is disposed from a surface 212 to a backside 214 of the soft magnetic material 200 in such a way that a region surrounded by the coil 330 at least partially includes a specific edge 216, which is one of four edges of the soft magnetic material 200, and does not include a counter edge 218 opposed to the specific edge 216.
