<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure pump with high assemblability and durability, while reducing its size and costs. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical passage wall surface 152 of a housing body 11 forms a passage 151 connected to a pressurizing chamber 113 pressurizing fuel. A securing groove 153 is recessed in a radial outward direction of the passage wall surface 152 and annularly formed along the passage wall surface 152. A valve body 30 is provided inside the passage wall surface 152. A valve body securing member 60 comprises a plate member 61 and a plate member 62 of arc shapes forming an annular shape while ends are abut. The valve body securing member 60 is fit in the securing groove 153, and can abut on the valve body 30 to be locked. A C-ring 600 is provided inside the locking member 60, and it presses the plate member 61 and the plate member 62 against the outer periphery wall 155 of a cylindrical face shape of the securing groove 153 by elastically deforming in a radial direction of the securing member 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
