<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper body of a disk brake for a vehicle, in which cylinder holes provided side by side in the disk circumferential direction are securely communicated, and a workability is improved without requiring high accuracy in boring a through-hole used as a union hole or a bleeder hole. <P>SOLUTION: Bottom part sides of adjacent cylinder holes 4, 4 are communicated with each other by a hydraulic fluid communication hole 11, and the hydraulic fluid communication hole 11 and the cylinder holes 4, 4 are formed of one shell core.
