PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the protective device of a heat exchanger for a vehicle restraining degradation of heat dissipation performance of tubes. SOLUTION: A protecting member 13 that covers a front face of the tubes of a sub-radiator 3 is formed of an aluminum alloy clad material (metallic material), and the protecting member 13 is welded to the tubes of the sub-radiator 3 to function as a heat dissipating body that exchanges heat between the tubes of the sub-radiator 3 and outside air.
