<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector configured to broaden a degree of freedom relative to position selection of a screen element. <P>SOLUTION: The projector includes a light source, an illumination part that radiates light emitted from the light source, and the screen element to obtain an image by receiving the light radiated from the illumination part, whose center is positioned at an axis different from an optical axis of the illumination part.
