PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the exhaust efficiency of a side radiator by allowing the exhausted gas back-upwardly and back-downwardly of an exhaust port. SOLUTION: A radiator 17 is arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and faced to an exhaust port 32 of a side cowl 20. The side cowl 20 has a double structure consisting of an outer cowl 21 and an inner cowl 22, and first to third spaces opened backwardly are formed between a rear edge part of the outer cowl 21 and the inner cowl 22. The first space is formed at the overlapping position on the radiator 17, the second space is formed below the radiator 17, and the third space is formed above the radiator 17. On the surface of the outer cowl 21, the traveling air of high flow velocity flows as shown by an arrow A. The pressure in a part between the spaces becomes negative, and hot exhaust gas is sucked from each space. The exhaust gas is discharged from the first space as shown in an arrow B, from the second space as shown by an arrow C, and from the third space as shown by an arrow D backward of the vehicle body, respectively. Thus, the exhaust efficiency in a part inside the outer cowl 21 around the radiator 17 can be enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
