PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a piping operation using a pipe suspension band having a pair of halved band pieces for pipe temporary positioning and for pipe retention. SOLUTION: In the vicinity of curving-directional suspension pieces 22 of a pipe temporary positioning band piece 2a and a pipe retention band piece 2b, concentric major diameter portions 25 larger in diameter than the inside diameter of the band pieces 2a, 2b are arranged respectively to extend to the standing positions of the upper ends of the suspension pieces 22. In the pipe temporary positioning band piece 2a, the temporary positioning of a pipe 6 is facilitated since the opening for receiving the pipe 6 is extended. In the pipe retention band piece 2b, since the position of the suspension piece 22 is separated from the pipe 6, the standing width of a bolt 4a of the band piece 2b for covering and supporting the pipe 6 can be reduced, the loosening width of the nut 4b for securing the standing width can be thus minimized, and fastening and unfastening of a nut 4a are facilitated.
