PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold of an engine, which can effectively reinforce a box body without reducing a degree of freedom in design of the box body or its mold. SOLUTION: The intake manifold of the engine includes a box body 8 having an intake air introducing pipe 9 at one side thereof, a plurality of intake branch pipes 2, 2, ... parallelly extending from the other side of the box body 8, and a mount flange 3 which couples downstream ends of the intake branch pipes 2, 2, ... mutually and is joined to the engine. Reinforcing ribs are formed in an inner surface or an outer surface of flat walls 8c and 8d which the box body 8 has. The manifold is made of a synthetic resin. A plurality of inner reinforcing ribs 12 extending linearly in one direction are formed in the inner surface of the flat walls 8c and 8d. A plurality of outer reinforcing ribs 13 extending linearly perpendicular to the inner reinforcing ribs 12 in a plan view are formed in the outer surface of the flat walls 8c and 8d.
