PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for conveyance in a tunnel, which enable sediment and a segment to be easily conveyed in the tunnel without the need for rail laying work and a large driving power source. SOLUTION: In this method for the conveyance in the tunnel 3 to be excavated, a water passage 21 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the tunnel 3 in the tunnel 3; a plurality of conveying containers 22 are floated on the water passage 21; a material 5 for use in the tunnel is conveyed by means of the conveying containers 22 moving along a going passage 21a; and an in-tunnel waste material 4 is conveyed by means of the conveying containers 22 moving along a return passage 21b.
