<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily edit a user's desired video content with geographical location taken into account. <P>SOLUTION: A locus information generating part 230 generates locus information in relation to a locus during capturing video content in which location information and direction information are associated, the locus information being generated based on the location information. An editing point setting part 260 sets an interval in the time axis of the video content, based on the generated locus information. For example, the interval is set on the basis of the result of comparing the imaging range (imaging range specified by the direction information) at the locus specified by the generated locus information, with a specific target region of a landmark, etc. A playlist information generating part 270 generates playlist information in relation to the playback of the video content, in accordance with the set interval.
