ORGANIC LUMINESCENT DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic luminescent device having a simple structure and preventing moisture or oxygen from penetrating into an organic luminescent layer, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The organic luminescent device includes: a substrate body; a transparent electrode formed on the substrate body; an organic luminescent layer formed on the transparent electrode; a cover electrode formed on the organic luminescent layer and formed of a metal; and a sealant formed on the substrate body to overlap an edge of the cover electrode, and covering a side face of the organic luminescent layer.
