PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor having a passage cover and a partition sealing film for preventing a short circuit of a refrigerant containing oil from a clearance between a motor insulator and the passage cover and inhibiting such a phenomenon that an oil discharge amount is increased. SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable partition sealing film 52 is heat-shrunk for putting the insulator 3c and the communication passage cover 51 in close contact with the partition sealing film 52 to prevent the short circuit of refrigerant gas containing oil.
