PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioner preventing rainwater from entering a vehicle interior in an air conditioner case divided into two at an expansion valve support portion, by a simple construction without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: In the vehicular air conditioner, a housing section (30) storing an expansion valve (26) is divided vertically into a lower housing (30a) and an upper housing (30b). From an upper end face (32b) of the upper housing to the inside of the air conditioner case (8) through an inner peripheral surface, a cover section (64) extended downward than a divided surface (52) of the upper housing is formed to cover a joint section between the upper housing and the lower housing.
