PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel gas supply system for an LNG ship, which can stably supply boil-off gas to a boiler, even when the LNG ship enters into port or leaves port and can be easily provided by renovating an existing fuel gas supply system. SOLUTION: The fuel gas supply system 100 includes a turbo compressor 1 which compresses boil-off gas G to be supplied to the boiler, a gas supply amount regulating valve 2 which regulates a supply amount of the boil-off gas, a return pipe 5 which connects an outlet side and an inlet side of the turbo compressor, an on-off valve device 6 provided thereon, a first surge controller 7 which generates an opening-closing signal to open an on-off valve 16 at a predetermined opening degree when the operation of the turbo compressor approaches a surge region, and a second surge controller 8 which generates an opening-closing signal to open the on-off valve to at a predetermined opening degree while a load of the turbo compressor 1 has a predetermined value or less. The on-off valve device is adapted to operate the on-off valve in accordance with an opening-closing signal at a higher opening degree out of the opening-closing signals generated by the first surge controller and the second surge controller.
